How to conceive pregnancy?

My husband and I just got married last year and are hoping to start a family soon. What are the best ways to get pregnant? We are a bit new to all this.

Conceiving is a natural process, so try to keep your mind calm first. Focus on tracking your partner's ovulation cycle, which usually falls in the middle of her monthly cycle. Make sure both of you are eating nutritious food, sleeping well, and keeping stress away. If it takes a few months, don't worry, it is completely normal.

My wife and I visited a reputed hospital when we were planning to conceive. Our doctor did a pre-conception checkup, which included basic blood tests and thyroid checks for her, and a semen analysis for me. I highly recommend doing this first so you can address any minor deficiencies before you start trying.

To increase your chances, the most important thing is to identify your fertile window—usually 12 to 14 days before your next period starts. Having regular intercourse during these 5-6 days is key. If you are under 35 and have been trying for over a year without success, then it is a good idea to visit a fertility doctor for basic checkups.

Our gynecologist explained that the highest chance of conception occurs when intercourse happens within the 2 days leading up to ovulation and the day of ovulation itself. They also highly emphasized starting a folic acid supplement at least three months before actively trying to prevent birth defects. Keep track of your menstrual cycle length to pinpoint this window accurately.

My wife and I used ovulation tracking strips that we bought online, and they were super helpful. They tell you exactly which days are your peak fertility days. Also, cutting down on late-night junk food and smoking really helped us get healthier for the process. Just keep it simple and don't make it a stressful chore.

I know how heartbreaking it is when you expect to conceive immediately but it doesn't happen. Every monthly cycle can feel like an emotional roller coaster, and it is completely okay to feel sad or frustrated. Please be gentle with yourself and your partner during this time, and seek support when it feels too heavy.
