How to combat pregnancy nausea?

I'm in my first trimester and the morning sickness is just unbearable, especially in the mornings. I've tried ginger tea, but it's not helping much. Any tips for managing this constant nausea?

Pregnancy nausea can be really tough, especially if you already have hormonal imbalances like PCOS. I found that eating a dry biscuit before even getting out of bed helped slightly, but it doesn't solve it completely. Take it easy and don't expect miracles instantly.

Welcome to the group, dear! For morning sickness, try to eat very bland food like simple curd rice or boiled potatoes without strong spices. Smelling a freshly cut lemon also helps instantly when you feel a wave of nausea. This phase will pass soon, take care.

Ginger is your best friend during this phase. I used to keep small ginger candies in my purse or just sip on warm water infused with fresh ginger slices throughout the day. Also, avoid keeping an empty stomach because acid buildup makes the nausea much worse.

My wife had severe vomiting and couldn't keep any food down. We consulted her doctor at the hospital, and they prescribed a safe pregnancy-specific medication that helped her eat normally. Please don't suffer in silence, just ask your doctor for safe options.

I can only tell you what worked for me during my pregnancy. I used to sniff lemon peel whenever I felt sick, and I ate small portions of dry toast every two hours. It didn't cure the nausea completely, but it made my workdays a lot more bearable.

Hey, don't stress too much about this. It is a very normal part of the journey and usually gets much better after the third month. Just focus on staying hydrated with coconut water or lime juice, and don't force yourself to eat heavy meals if you don't feel like it.

When my daughter was pregnant, her nausea was so bad she hated the smell of the kitchen. I started giving her cold foods like apple slices, cucumber, and cold milk because warm food has a stronger smell that triggers vomiting. It really helped her get some nutrition.

In my first pregnancy, I panicked so much thinking something was wrong because I was vomiting daily. But my doctor assured me it is just the pregnancy hormones working. Once I stopped worrying, I found that simple jeera water really helped settle my stomach.
