How to combat hair loss?

My hair has been thinning a lot recently, and I see so much hair in my brush every day. It's making me self-conscious. What are some good ways to combat hair loss?

I ignored my thinning crown for two years thinking it was just work stress, and now my hair follicles are completely dead in that area. Please see a dermatologist early. Medical treatments like minoxidil or finasteride work best when started on time.

I have been seeing a lot of hair fall lately and it makes me quite sad. Has anyone tried onion juice or rosemary water, or should I just directly go visit a skin specialist first?

My grandmother always advised applying homemade hibiscus oil to cool the scalp and strengthen the roots. It is a wonderful practice, but I also consult my doctor to check my vitamin D3 and B12 levels, as deficiencies are very common causes of hair fall.

Don't waste money on fancy shampoo brands claiming to stop hair fall, because shampoo only stays on your scalp for a minute. Focus on checking your blood reports for iron deficiency anemia or thyroid issues, as those are the actual culprits behind sudden hair thinning.

Getting enough protein is essential for hair keratin production, so I make sure to include paneer, sprouts, and chia seeds in my daily meals. However, diet alone won't cure genetic pattern baldness, so keep your expectations realistic and talk to a doctor.

I tried all kinds of home remedies, but my hair loss only stopped when I got a proper diagnosis of male pattern baldness and started dermatologist-prescribed lotion. Be consistent with your prescribed routine for at least 6 months to see real results.

Before starting any expensive hair treatments, get basic blood tests like CBC, Thyroid, and Vitamin D done through an affordable local lab. It is much cheaper to treat a vitamin deficiency than to pay for luxury hair clinics.
