At 50, just looking at a plate of chole bhature gives me acidity now. I've basically surrendered to a life of lukewarm water and early dinners. If I eat past 9 PM, my stomach throws a major protest by midnight.

I used to suffer from chronic acid reflux every single day. The real game-changer was fixing my sleep schedule and cutting down tea to just one cup in the morning, never on an empty stomach. Also, drinking enough water throughout the day is highly underrated for acidity.

Look, if you eat spicy street food till late night and sleep immediately, no remedy will save you. Stop the late-night snacking first. Eat dinner by 8 PM, walk for ten minutes, and you will see half your acidity disappear.

Managing both blood sugar and acidity is quite a balancing act. People often suggest sweet drinks or juices for cooling the stomach, but I avoid those completely. Unsweetened cold milk or fresh buttermilk with a pinch of roasted cumin works best without spiking my sugars.

Acidity is often just our body reflecting our internal stress and rushed thoughts. Try eating your food mindfully and peacefully, thanking the universe for the meal. A calm mind definitely leads to a calmer stomach, so take care of your peace.

Same issue here, literally nothing works if I don't sleep for 8 hours. Acid levels just go crazy.
