How to check pregnancy at home with fingers?

My friend was telling me about some old wives' tales for checking pregnancy. She mentioned something about using fingers. Is there any truth to this, or how exactly would one try to check pregnancy at home with fingers?

Our bodies are sacred and we must treat them with great gentleness. Checking the cervix with fingers is not recommended as it can cause infections. Stay calm, keep your thoughts positive, and use a standard home pregnancy kit instead.

I tried checking my cervix position with my fingers once because I was panicking, but it was so confusing and didn't tell me anything. Later my doctor told me it is normal for the cervix to change, but it is not a reliable pregnancy test. Just use a regular kit, it is so much easier.

Some elders in my family mentioned feeling for a high cervix, but my doctor strictly warned against inserting fingers inside. It is highly unhygienic and can introduce bacteria. Please trust a scientific urine test strip or a blood test instead.

Beta, please do not try to check your cervix yourself with fingers. It is very hard to judge correctly and you might end up causing an infection. It is much safer to buy a simple test kit from the chemist for peace of mind.

Inserting fingers to check pregnancy is not safe at all, haan na. It can cause unwanted infections very easily. Better to just get a standard urine card test, it is very simple and completely safe.

Listen, please don't try checking with your fingers. It is risky because your hands can carry bacteria, and you won't get a clear answer anyway. Just relax, wait for your period date, and use a regular medical test kit. I'm here if you need to talk.

In olden times, midwives used to check things, but we should not do this ourselves at home. You can hurt yourself or cause an infection. Go to a chemist shop and get a proper plastic testing kit, or see a lady doctor.

Our body has its own natural rhythm, but checking the cervix manually is not a safe practice. It requires expert clinical training. Please keep your body clean, practice gentle breathing, and rely on standard medical kits for confirmation.

I always support natural ways, but checking yourself with fingers inside is not safe and shouldn't be done. For pregnancy, please stick to the standard medical urine cards. If you feel any unusual pain or discharge, see a doctor.

I once tried unverified self-checks at home and ended up with a painful vaginal infection that required heavy antibiotics. Please do not insert fingers to check for pregnancy. Get a proper clinical urine test done to be 100% safe.

I completely understand how stressful the waiting game can be, and how we want to try every method to know. But please don't use your fingers to check; it only increases anxiety and risk of infection. A standard urine strip test is the only safe way at home.

Just like we follow clean hygiene habits with our food and diet, we must maintain strict hygiene for our intimate areas. Checking with fingers is highly unhygienic and inaccurate. Use a simple, touch-free medical test strip instead.
