How to bring a baby's fever down?

My baby seems to have a fever and is a bit restless. I've heard some home remedies, but I want to be safe. What are the best methods to gently bring down a baby's fever?

I don't have a baby lol but my younger cousin had a fever once. My aunt just gave him a sponge bath with lukewarm water and some paracetamol drops his pediatrician told her to use. He felt better pretty fast. But yeah, always best to ask a doc for babies.

Fever in babies can be scary, I remember when my first one got it. Don't worry too much. First, light clothing and keep the room cool. A lukewarm sponge bath helps a lot. And the doctor will usually tell you what fever medicine to give, like paracetamol drops, strictly as per weight. Get a doctor's advice first.

Oh, a baby's fever is so stressful! My daughter had one recently. The doc told me to give paracetamol syrup according to her weight, keep her lightly dressed, and give frequent lukewarm sponge baths, especially if the fever is very high. Don't use cold water. And keep offering fluids, breastmilk or formula is best.

A baby with a fever? That's peak parenthood, goodbye sleep! My brain basically shuts down when my kid gets a fever. All I remember is paracetamol (the exact dose from the doc!), lukewarm sponge baths, and endless cuddles. And calling the pediatrician every few hours, even if it's 3 AM. It's tough, hang in there!

My nephew had a fever last month. My sister-in-law gave him infant paracetamol and kept wiping him with a damp cloth. Also, made sure he was drinking enough milk. But she called the doc first thing to get the right dose and make sure it wasn't anything serious. Always check with the doc for babies.

For babies, don't take chances. A simple visit to the pediatrician is a must, it's not that expensive for consultation. They will tell you exactly what medicine and dosage. At home, keep them cool with light clothes and maybe a cool damp cloth on forehead, no AC directly. Hydration is also very important.

I can only share what my pediatrician told me for my little one's fever. They said light clothing, frequent sips of water/milk, and paracetamol drops as per the prescribed dose. And if it's very high or doesn't go down, then immediately back to the doctor. For babies, always consult a medical professional.

For a baby's fever, proper hydration is super important. Stick to breastmilk or formula. Don't introduce any new foods or juices when they have a fever, unless suggested by the doctor. And medicine dosage has to be very precise based on weight, so always confirm with your pediatrician.

I've tried a lot of things for my kids' fevers. For a baby, lukewarm sponge baths really do help, just keep the room warm so they don't shiver. And definitely use the paracetamol drops prescribed by the doctor, following the exact weight-based dosage. Don't guess. If the fever is too high or not coming down, call the doc again.

For tiny ones, be very careful, beta. Always call your doctor. For mild fever, we used to gently wipe them with a cloth dipped in room-temperature water. A light dhoti or thin cotton cloth is enough, don't overbundle. And feed them well, mother's milk is best. No strong remedies for babies, only what the doctor says.
