How to avoid kidney stones naturally?

A relative of mine recently had kidney stones, and it sounded very painful. I'm trying to be more health-conscious and want to know how I can naturally prevent them without needing medicines. Are there any specific foods or habits I should follow?

Simple funda: Drink lots and lots of water. Like, really a lot. And reduce salt in your food, bhai. Nimbu paani (lemon water) is also said to help, but don't overdo it. If pain comes, go to doc, don't play hero.

Oh, kidney stones are so painful, it's completely understandable to want to avoid them! I get anxious about health issues too. The best thing is definitely to stay well-hydrated throughout the day and watch your diet, especially salty and processed foods.

While natural methods like increased water intake and dietary modifications (e.g., reducing sodium, balanced calcium) are beneficial, a medical professional can identify the type of stone and provide targeted dietary advice. Self-diagnosing or treating can be counterproductive.

Prevention is always cheaper than cure. Drinking water is free. Eating fresh food is often more economical than processed junk. If you've had stones before, paying for a consultation with a urologist to understand your stone type can save you huge hospital bills later.

Beta, lots of water is important, always. And eat simple food, not too much mirch-masala or outside food. My mother used to give us kulthi dal (horse gram soup), it is said to be good for kidneys. But if you have pain, go to doctor, don't wait.
