Yaar, kidney stones are no joke, mere friend ko hue the. Actually, the main thing is to drink loads of water, like seriously, lots. And cut down on things high in oxalates like spinach, beetroot, chocolates. Also, docs say avoid too much salt and animal protein.

Dealing with health issues like PCOS makes you very cautious. For kidney stones, I've heard hydration is critical. But also, what you eat matters. Don't take any advice too lightly; it's always best to consult a urologist or nephrologist. Every body is different.

Managing diabetes has taught me how crucial diet is. For kidney stones, limiting high-oxalate foods is important. And watch your sugar intake too, as sugary drinks can sometimes contribute. Your doctor or a dietician can give you a proper list of what to avoid and what to include.

At this age, it feels like one day it's BP, next day it's stones, then cholesterol... 😂 But seriously, hydration is key for kidney stones. My doc told me, if you're peeing light yellow or clear, you're doing well. Otherwise, just keep gulping water like it's free, because treatment isn't!

I ignored some back pain and discomfort for too long once, thinking it was just fatigue, and it turned out to be a kidney stone. The pain was unbearable later. So please, don't wait if you have any symptoms. And for prevention, proper fluid intake is non-negotiable. See a doctor to get a diet plan too.

Prevention is always cheaper than treatment, especially with kidney stones. The tests, the medication, maybe even surgery, it all adds up. So, proactively drinking enough water, making simple dietary changes like reducing soda, and having a yearly check-up can save you a lot of money and pain in the long run.
