How to achieve better sleep?

These days, I just can't seem to get a good night's sleep. I wake up feeling tired even after 7-8 hours. What can I do to actually feel refreshed?

Keeping a stable blood sugar level is very important for uninterrupted sleep. Avoid heavy carb-rich dinners and late-night sweet cravings to prevent middle-of-the-night wakeups.

Drinking warm chamomile tea or turmeric milk before bed really relaxes the body. However, if your insomnia is chronic, please see a specialist as it could indicate an underlying health issue.

I used to panic when I couldn't sleep, thinking I had chronic insomnia. Once I stopped stressing about sleep itself and kept my phone away, my cycle naturally fell back into place.

Don't blindly buy those viral melatonin gummies or sleep supplements from Instagram ads. Consult a general physician to find out if it is an anxiety issue or a physical deficiency.

My smartwatch showed that my deep sleep was terrible when I drank coffee in the afternoon. Restricting caffeine strictly to morning hours vastly improved my sleep score.

I struggled with insomnia for years. The only thing that works is waking up at the exact same time every single day, even on weekends, to train your body clock.
