Foot surgery can bring immense relief from chronic pain and help you walk much better. Please consult an experienced orthopedic surgeon who can guide you through the process and recovery steps gently.

I get so worried reading about surgery risks and recovery times! From what I have seen, surgeries like joint fusion for foot arthritis are actually very successful in removing pain, but you have to be very patient with the recovery phase. Take your time to decide.

I tried all kinds of warm oils and herbal pastes for my foot arthritis, but when the joint is fully worn out, home remedies won't fix it. Surgery is highly successful in restoring movement when other options fail. Do discuss it openly with your doctor.

Beta, my cousin had severe joint damage and could barely walk before his foot fusion surgery. It took some months of physiotherapy, but now he is walking comfortably without pain. Don't fear the surgery if the doctor recommends it.

Don't blindly believe people who say exercises or local applications can cure advanced bone friction. Only an orthopedic specialist can tell you if surgery is needed. If they suggest it, the success rate for pain relief is generally very high.

Most people report great success and can finally wear normal shoes again after recovery. Just make sure you have a good physiotherapist lined up for after the surgery. Wishing you a very speedy recovery ahead!
