How soon do you notice breast changes in pregnancy?

For me, the soreness started around week four and I had to change to seamless cotton sports bras almost immediately. Normal underwire bras became too painful to wear. I highly suggest getting a couple of comfortable, wire-free maternity bras early on to manage the tenderness.

My wife noticed changes around week five, and we immediately bought a basic medical store test kit for 100 rupees instead of rushing for costly clinic scans early on. Save your money for the main doctor consultations and the upcoming ultrasound bills, those get expensive.

Usually, these changes begin within 1 to 2 weeks after conception due to hormonal surges. However, since breast pain or lumps can sometimes be due to other underlying issues, it is always safest to mention any sudden changes to your doctor during your first prenatal visit.
