How soon can you tell pregnancy?

I'm trying to figure out if I could be pregnant. My body feels a bit off, but it's still early days. What's the earliest you can tell if you are pregnant, through symptoms or a test?

For me, the dead giveaway was suddenly losing interest in my daily morning chai and craving sour pickle juice instead! This happened around the 5th week of pregnancy. Before that, my body didn't give any hints at all.

Actually, you can't tell immediately, yaar. You have to wait at least 10 days for a blood test, or just wait for your missed period to do a home test. Trying to guess before that based on body mood swings is just confusing.

While early symptoms like implantation spotting can occur around 10-12 days post-conception, they are highly subjective. The only reliable way to confirm pregnancy is through a beta hCG blood test or a home urine test after a missed period. Consulting your doctor is always the best path to get accurate guidance.

I am so anxious waiting to find out. Is it normal to feel absolutely nothing even after a week of missing your period? I kept expecting some symptoms but my body feels completely normal, and it is making me super nervous.

Our elders here say that a mother can feel the change in her body within two-three weeks, like feeling very tired or dizzy. But to be sure, it is best to get a test done from the local hospital once the monthly cycle is missed.

In our family, we tell young women to rest well and drink warm milk with a little ginger if they feel heavy or tired in the early weeks. But don't try any harsh home herbs to confirm or change anything. Just wait for the missed date and let the doctor check you properly.
