How soon can pregnancy be detected?

My period is irregular, so it's hard to track. I'm just curious, how soon can pregnancy generally be detected by any method? What's the earliest possible detection?

I am quite new to this and wanted to ask, is a doctor's blood test more accurate than the home urine kits if I want to know early?

In my experience, a urine test is only reliable from the day of your missed period. Trying to find out before that just causes unnecessary worry and confusion.

Did anyone else feel super anxious and keep testing every day before their period? I keep getting negatives but my period is still two days away, is there still a chance?

Just like monitoring blood sugar, timing is everything. A urine test works best once your period is missed, so wait for that and keep focusing on your healthy, low-carb routine.

While you wait for your missed period to test, keep your body warm and avoid eating very cold or raw foods. A simple cup of warm milk with turmeric can help soothe your nerves during this wait.

Ah, the waiting game! Back when we were trying, we bought so many kits we could have started a shop. Just wait for the missed period, it saves you both money and high blood pressure.
