Scalp psoriasis is incredibly challenging and can really affect your mental peace, I completely understand. It's not just about the flakes. For washing, my dermatologist told me to use a medicated shampoo daily or every other day, very gently, to remove scales without irritating the scalp. Consistency and gentle care are so important.

My daughter has scalp psoriasis, and it needs a lot of care. Her dermatologist advised us to wash her hair daily with a very mild, non-irritating shampoo, sometimes a medicated one if needed, to keep the scales from building up. Always follow up with a light conditioner and be very gentle while combing.

Scalp psoriasis? Sounds like another thing to keep me up at night! 😂 Seriously though, for something like that, you can't just guess. My friend has it, and he says his doc gave him a super specific wash routine with medicated shampoo. Get proper advice, don't rely on my sleep-deprived brain!

Scalp psoriasis requires specialized care. The frequency of washing and type of shampoo should be strictly as per your dermatologist's advice. At a good hospital, they'll give you a detailed regimen, potentially including specific medicated shampoos or topical treatments. Do not self-medicate or follow generic advice.

For a chronic condition like scalp psoriasis, consistency is key, just like tracking fitness. Your dermatologist will prescribe a specific regimen. It's usually daily or every other day with specialized shampoos. You can even use an app to remind yourself to apply topical treatments, along with washing, for better adherence.
