How much weight to lose to reverse fatty liver?

My recent reports showed I have a fatty liver, and the doctor said I need to lose weight. Can anyone tell me, roughly, how much weight loss usually helps in reversing this condition?

Fatty liver, haan na, it's a common problem now. My neighbour was told by her doc that losing even 5-10% of body weight can make a big difference. It helps a lot to reduce the fat in the liver. Just start slow, no need to rush, ho na?

Hey! Don't stress too much about this, but definitely take it seriously. My friend had fatty liver, and her doc said losing even 5-10% of her body weight really helped reverse it. Just focus on a healthy diet, cut down on sugar and processed stuff, and maybe some walking. You got this!

Don't ignore this. I ignored my symptoms for a long time and then it became worse. My doctor told me that for fatty liver, losing even a small amount, like 3-5% of your total body weight, can start reversing it. But for significant improvement, 7-10% is often needed. Please get a proper checkup and follow medical advice strictly.

For fatty liver, the focus should be on gentle, consistent changes. Even a modest weight loss, perhaps 5-7% of your body weight, can show good results. Along with a mindful diet, practicing gentle yoga and pranayama can support liver health. It's about holistic well-being.

Oh god, fatty liver sounds so scary! I get really anxious thinking about these things. But my friend, who had it, was told that even losing 5-10% of body weight can reverse it. It means small, consistent efforts can really help. Don't panic, just be regular with your healthy habits.

I've been reading up on this. Many articles and health apps mention that losing 5-10% of your body weight can significantly improve or even reverse fatty liver. Tracking your progress and consistently making healthy choices in diet and exercise is crucial. Consult a doc for a tailored plan!

My doctor explained that for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), losing 5-7% of your body weight can reduce liver fat, but a loss of 7-10% is often required for significant improvement in inflammation and scarring. Diet and exercise are the primary treatments.

Mere saath bhi hua tha, fatty liver ka issue. My doctor told me that even a small loss, around 5-7 kgs, can make a difference. I focused on eating less oily food and walking more, and honestly, it really helped me. Don't wait, start now, even small changes matter.
