How much weight gain third trimester?

I'm in my third trimester now, and my appetite has really increased! My doctor keeps telling me to monitor my weight. What is a normal amount of weight to gain during these last few months?

During my third trimester, I gained quite a bit, almost 5-6 kgs. My doctor said it's normal as the baby grows rapidly, and there's more fluid. Just keep eating healthy and don't worry too much about the number, focus on the baby's health.

Third trimester? That's when you start feeling like a human-sized watermelon! Haha! But seriously, a lot of it is baby, fluid, and all that good stuff. Don't worry, you're not gaining weight, you're growing a tiny human superstar!

It's natural to gain weight then. Your body is working hard for the baby. Just try to listen to your doctor and stay relaxed.

I totally panicked during my third trimester because I gained like 7 kg! My doctor reassured me that a lot of it is the baby, placenta, amniotic fluid, and increased blood volume. It's actually quite normal. Don't worry, your body knows what it's doing.

I'm just researching for future, but I've read it can be around 5-6 kgs in the third trimester. It seems like the baby grows a lot then, so it makes sense. It's good to be informed, right?

I can only share my own experience – I gained about 4 kgs in my last trimester. It felt like a lot, but the doctor was happy with the baby's growth. Everyone is different, so what one person gains might not be the same for you.

My wife had high BP during her pregnancy, so weight gain was something we monitored carefully, especially in the third trimester. It’s important to keep your checkups regular and follow your doctor's advice on diet and activity to manage BP and healthy weight gain. Too much can sometimes be a sign of issues.

My sister was telling me she gained like 4-5 kg in her last three months. She was stressing but her doc said it's totally fine. All that baby weight, fluids, everything counts. Just chill and listen to your doctor.

I had some complications with my first, and sudden rapid weight gain in the third trimester was one of the signs. It's really, really important to discuss any significant changes with your doctor right away. Don't take it lightly.

This is crucial, especially if you have thyroid issues like me. With my first pregnancy, my thyroid was a bit off, which affected my weight gain. Make sure your doctor is regularly checking your thyroid levels. It's important for both you and the baby.
