How much weight gain is normal during first trimester?

Just found out I'm pregnant, barely 8 weeks along! I'm feeling a bit bloated and also have some nausea, so eating is difficult. I'm wondering if I should be gaining weight already in this first trimester or if it's more later on?

In the first trimester, very little weight gain is expected, often 1-2 kgs, sometimes even a slight loss due to morning sickness. Don't stress too much about numbers then. Just focus on balanced meals when you can, and staying hydrated. The real gain usually starts in the second trimester.

Normally, first trimester mein bahut zyada weight gain nahi hota. But I once ignored a sudden, unusual weight loss in my family member's first trimester, thinking it was just morning sickness, and it turned out to be an underlying issue. So, please, always keep your doctor informed about any significant changes, whether gain or loss.

Ho na, first trimester mein bahut kam weight badhta hai, kabhi-kabhi toh ulta kam bhi ho jaata hai nausea ki wajah se. Ek-do kilo tak normal hai. Zyada stress mat lo, bas doctor se consult karte raho. Sab theek ho jayega.

In the first trimester, minimal weight gain is usually observed, typically ranging from 0.5 to 2 kilograms. This is because the baby is still very small. However, factors like morning sickness can even lead to slight weight loss. The most reliable advice will come from your gynecologist, who can assess your individual health status.

During the first trimester, very little weight gain is common. It's usually a small amount, or sometimes even a bit of loss due to symptoms. Focus on eating nutrient-rich foods and staying hydrated.

I gained almost nothing in my first trimester, actually lost a bit because of nausea. Is that normal? I kept worrying. Did anyone else experience very little or no weight gain early on? It makes you wonder if everything is okay.

Generally, very little weight gain is expected in the first trimester, often only 1-2 kgs. However, if you're gaining significantly more, or losing a lot, it's crucial to get it checked by your doctor. It's always best to be cautious and rule out any issues early on.

I was just looking this up! Apparently, the first trimester isn't really about major weight gain. It's more about getting past the morning sickness and stable eating. So, like 1-2 kgs is pretty normal from what I gathered.

Hey there! In the first trimester, weight gain is usually pretty slow, sometimes even negligible, or you might lose a little due to morning sickness. Don't worry if the scale isn't moving much yet. Just try to eat small, healthy meals and listen to your body.

For the first three months, weight gain is typically minimal, as the baby is still very small. It's common to gain only about 1 to 2 kilograms, and some women might even lose a little due to morning sickness. Just focus on what you can eat and keep yourself hydrated. Your doctor will track everything.
