How much weight gain in each trimester?

My doctor gave me general guidelines, but I'm curious about the breakdown. How much weight gain is generally recommended in each trimester of pregnancy?

For me, tracking weight trimester-wise was important because of my thyroid. Hormonal changes can affect it significantly. So regular thyroid tests and always discussing the weight gain pattern with your endocrinologist and gynaecologist is very important to ensure everything is on track.

Yeah, I was wondering about this too, like what's the typical breakdown. From what I've read, the first trimester usually has minimal gain, then it picks up in the second, and quite a bit in the third. It's interesting how the body adapts.

Such a good question! ✨ Generally, very little in the first, then 1-2 lbs (approx 0.5-1 kg) per week in the second and third. But everyone's body is different, so don't stress if yours is a bit different! Just enjoy the journey!🤰

Beta, har trimester ka apna pace hota hai. Pehle mein toh kuch khaas nahi badhta, sometimes even lose. Phir dheere dheere badhta hai. Aakhri mein toh baby ka weight hi bahut hota hai, so automatically zyada gain hota hai. It's all very natural, just listen to your elders and your doctor.

Normally, first trimester is minimal, second is steady, and third is when baby grows fastest so more weight. Try simple home remedies for general well-being like warm milk or light yoga if okayed by doctor. But for specific weight targets or any serious concerns, always see your gynecologist, they are the best guide.
