How much protein take in a day for weight gain?

I've been trying to gain some weight and build muscle for a while now. My trainer said I need to increase my protein intake significantly. What's the right amount of protein I should be taking daily to see good results for weight gain?

I wish my problem was weight gain! But seriously, if you are struggling to build mass, aim for about 1.5g to 2g of protein per kg of weight. Just don't lose sleep over it like me, because muscle recovery needs proper rest too!

To gain healthy weight, eating around 1.5 grams of protein per kg is a safe and practical target. However, remember that you also need extra healthy calories from fats and carbs, like peanut butter, bananas, and whole grains. Just eating protein won't help you gain weight.

If you are planning to significantly increase your protein intake for weight gain, please get a liver and kidney function test done first. Sometimes sudden high protein can cause digestive stress or load the kidneys. It's always safer to proceed with a doctor's guidance.

Bhai, agar wazan badhana hai toh dahi, paneer aur chana khub khao. Maine toh gaon mein sattu aur doodh peeke apna wazan theek kiya tha. Kisi acche doctor se pooch ke dharas badhao, sab theek hoga.

You don't need to spend 4000-5000 rupees on expensive whey proteins or mass gainers. A simple budget-friendly plan with eggs, roasted chana, peanuts, and double-toned milk can easily give you 80-90g of protein daily at a very low cost.
