How much omega 3 for pregnancy?

My gynaecologist mentioned that omega-3 is good for the baby's development during pregnancy. I'm a bit confused about the right dosage since I see so many different supplements in the market. Just want to make sure I'm taking the right amount.

Please don't skip your routine prenatal checks or take random self-prescribed doses. During our pregnancy, we ignored minor nutritional advice and faced issues later. Make sure you get your doctor's exact recommendation, which is usually 200-300 mg of DHA.

Most doctors recommend around 200 to 300 mg of DHA daily during pregnancy. I take a vegetarian algal-oil supplement because fish oil made me super nauseous. Check with your doctor to find a brand that works for you!

My grandmother told me to eat soaked almonds and walnuts daily, which I do. But my doctor also gave me a 200 mg DHA supplement. It is best to follow both traditional foods and the doctor's prescription.

Keep your mind peaceful and positive, dear, as it beautifully affects the baby. For your physical health, 200 mg of Omega-3 DHA is standard, but please ask your doctor to bless you with the right prescription.

I just delivered my healthy baby boy last month! My doctor had me on 300 mg of DHA daily from the second trimester onwards. It really helped with my joint pains too, so definitely ask your doctor to add it.

I tried eating lots of flaxseed and walnuts, but my doctor explained that plant-based ALA doesn't convert to DHA very well in the body. So, taking a doctor-prescribed 200 mg DHA pill is the most practical way to ensure the baby gets enough.

I am in my 5th month and my doctor prescribed 200 mg of Omega-3, but I'm so worried about the fishy aftertaste causing more nausea. Did anyone else struggle with this, or did you switch to a veg option?
