How much omega 3 during pregnancy?

Usually, pregnant women are advised to take 200 mg to 300 mg of DHA (a type of Omega-3) daily. Be careful if you are taking sugar supplements, and always check that your prenatal vitamins don't have added sugars or artificial elements.

My wife took about 300 mg of DHA daily during her pregnancy, and now our toddler has so much brain energy that I get zero sleep! Jokes aside, please check with your obstetrician for the right prenatal dose.

My mother-in-law advised eating ghee and walnuts daily for the baby's brain, which is good. But my doctor also prescribed a safe 200 mg Omega-3 capsule to ensure proper development. It is best to follow the doctor's prescription.

In our days, we just ate walnuts and fish, but nowadays doctors safely prescribe 200-300 mg DHA. Don't worry too much, just follow your doctor's daily prenatal plan and stay happy.

At the maternity hospital we visit, the doctors strictly put my wife on 200 mg of prenatal DHA daily. Please ask your gynecologist clearly instead of taking over-the-counter fish oil, as some can have high mercury levels.

Having PCOS made my pregnancy journey very anxious, but my doctor kept things simple with 250 mg of high-quality Omega-3. Don't take generic fish oil supplements without confirming the purity and dosage with your gynac.

Eating walnuts, flaxseeds, and chia seeds is a great natural way to get Omega-3 during pregnancy. But if you have severe morning sickness or can't eat, ask your doctor for a safe supplement pill instead of ignoring it.
