How much kidney in human body?

We were studying human anatomy in school today, and I got curious. How much kidney does a human body typically have? Is it always two, or can it vary?

A normal human body has two kidneys located on either side of the spine. Some people are born with only one, which is called renal agenesis, and they can lead a perfectly normal life with it. It is basic biology.

We have exactly two kidneys! Unless you bought the latest iPhone recently, then you might be down to one, haha! Just kidding, two is the standard package we all get.

We are born with two kidneys, and as a diabetic, I know how crucial it is to protect both of them. High sugar can damage their filtering capacity over time. Please get your serum creatinine and urine microalbumin tested yearly to keep them healthy.

We have two kidneys! They do a fantastic job of filtering out all the waste from our blood 24/7. Keep drinking plenty of water to keep both of them happy and healthy! 💧

The human body normally has two kidneys. I lost one of mine to a medical condition years ago, and I remember how terrified and heartbroken I felt at that time. But honestly, you can live a full, beautiful, and healthy life even with just one functioning kidney.
