How much do you gain during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and my mother-in-law is constantly telling me to eat for two, but my doctor said to gain weight steadily. I'm a bit confused about the right amount. How much weight do you typically gain during pregnancy?

As a working professional, I found managing weight during pregnancy tricky. The doctors gave me a range, usually 10-15 kg, but it's very individual. Focus on nutrient-dense meals and staying active, rather than just the number on the scale. Consult your OB-GYN regularly.

Typically, doctors recommend gaining around 11-16 kgs for a healthy pregnancy. My wife gained about 13 kg with our first. Simple home-cooked food and daily walks are key. Don't go for fancy diets, just balanced meals.

Yaar, it really varies, no? My friend gained like 10kg, and her cousin gained 18kg, and both had healthy babies. Actually, it depends on your pre-pregnancy weight and body type. Don't stress too much, just eat healthy and listen to your doctor.

My sister was pregnant recently, she gained quite a bit, maybe like 12-14 kgs? She was constantly craving weird stuff. But her doctor said it was fine as long as she was healthy. Every body is different, yaar.

Oh, the pregnancy cravings! I swear I ate for two, maybe even three sometimes, haha! But seriously, I gained about 14 kg. My doc said it was okay as long as it was mostly healthy stuff, with some indulgences of course. Enjoy your food, but wisely!

How much do you gain? Enough to feel like a walking, talking watermelon sometimes, haha! Kidding aside, it's usually 10-15 kg, but seriously, don't obsess over the numbers. Your body is doing something amazing, focus on that!

My sister was pregnant last year. She gained almost 15 kilos. She was always hungry man! But the doc said it was fine since she was eating nutritious food. It depends on person to person, I think.
