How much do u gain during pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first child, and everyone keeps telling me different things about weight gain. My doctor said to keep an eye on it. How much weight is generally considered healthy to gain during pregnancy? I'm a bit confused.

Honestly, don't try to compare too much. Everyone's pregnancy is different. I gained a lot with my first, and it caused some issues later. Best to talk to your doctor about what's healthy for YOU and your baby, don't ignore their advice.

My wife gained around 12-14 kg with both our kids. It really depends on your pre-pregnancy weight and how you're feeling. Our doctor gave a range and she stayed within it mostly. Just sharing our experience.

Oh, I totally panicked about this! I thought I was gaining too much or too little at different times. But my doctor kept reassuring me that as long as it's a gradual, healthy gain and baby is growing, it's fine. It's usually 10-15 kg, but varies a lot.

Weight gain is important, but also keep an eye on other things like blood pressure during pregnancy. Regular checkups are a must to ensure everything is on track. My wife had high BP issues so we were very careful.

Beta, don't worry too much about exact numbers. Eat well, rest well, and listen to your elders and doctor. A little weight gain is natural for the baby to grow. Just stay happy, that's most important.
