How much choline during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester and my doctor talked about the importance of choline for the baby's development. I'm trying to make sure I get enough. How much choline do I need daily during pregnancy?

My gynaecologist at Fortis told me that pregnant women generally need around 450 mg of choline daily. Please ask your doctor clearly before taking any extra supplements as your prenatal vitamins might already have some.

Hey, don't stress too much about all these micro-nutrients! Just eat a balanced diet with eggs, milk, and dals, and let your gynaecologist handle the exact supplement plan during your visits.

My wife is pregnant and her doctor recommended eating eggs daily because they are naturally high in choline. It is much easier than taking extra pills if your doctor allows it.

A calm mind and simple, wholesome food are the best gifts for your baby. Trust your doctor for the exact nutritional supplements, and keep your body active with gentle stretching and deep breathing.

During my pregnancy last year, I made sure to include paneer and broccoli in my meals because I wanted natural choline sources. My doctor said that was perfect and I didn't need any high-dose synthetic supplements.

I am also constantly worrying if I am getting enough nutrients for my baby's brain development! It is so stressful, but let's trust our doctors and get our blood tests done regularly so we don't take the wrong doses.

Do not follow random diet advice or supplement dosages from forums while pregnant. Excess of any nutrient can cause issues, so verify every single tablet with your gynaecologist first.

Getting nutrients from fresh milk, curd, and sprouts is a very good natural way to support pregnancy. But if you have severe vomiting, weakness, or any cramping, please don't wait and go straight to your doctor.

My wife had crazy food cravings during her pregnancy, but luckily her favorite eggs and paneer are also packed with choline! It is great when healthy food actually tastes good too.
