How much alcohol damages liver?

I enjoy an occasional drink, but I'm always cautious about my health. I'm wondering, how much alcohol damages the liver over time?

Please don't wait for symptoms to show up, as I suffered severe complications before realizing my regular drinking was damaging my liver. Even moderate amounts can cause quiet damage, so you should definitely consult a doctor for a proper liver panel test.

With conditions like PCOS, our metabolic system is already under stress, so even small amounts of alcohol can cause liver fat buildup. I try to be very careful and keep my consumption close to zero to avoid extra complications.

I understand how heavy and guilty it feels when you worry about having damaged your own body with alcohol. It is a really tough emotional space to be in, but accepting it and stepping back from drinking is the best first step you can take.

Haan yaar, agar hafte mein 4-5 din lagatar peeyoge toh liver par asar padega hi na. Sabse achha hai limit mein rakho aur beech mein gap zaroor do.

I tried drinking amla juice and warm water with lemon for my liver health, but my doctor told me that home remedies cannot reverse the damage if drinking continues. It is best to minimize alcohol to almost nothing if you want to protect your liver.

I am new here and don't know much about liver health. Is drinking just two beers on a Saturday night enough to cause long-term damage, or is that considered safe?
