How much alcohol can your liver process per hour?

I'm trying to cut down on my drinking, and I want to understand my body better. Can someone tell me how much alcohol your liver can process per hour?

The liver processes about one standard drink an hour. Because I suffer from high blood pressure, I had to cut down on weekend drinks significantly after my doctor warned me about the extra strain on the body.

Honestly, it is only about one unit or standard drink per hour. I always try to alternate my drinks with a glass of water when I am out so my body has time to process everything smoothly.

Don't take your liver's processing capacity for granted. I ignored constant bloating and fatigue for a year, thinking it was just gas, until a checkup showed fatty liver. Please get regular blood tests done to see how your liver is actually handling things.

The physical body is a delicate instrument, and the liver can only cleanse about one small glass of alcohol per hour. Keeping our bodies clean with light food and deep breathing helps the internal organs function with less stress.

Yes, the standard limit is roughly one drink per hour. Don't push it beyond that if you want to stay healthy.

It is basically one pint of beer or one peg of whiskey an hour, bro. Anything more than that just stays in your system and gives you a bad hangover the next day. Better to pace yourself.

While it is true that the liver processes one drink an hour, we must also consider the high empty calories in alcohol. Eating green leafy vegetables and staying on a clean diet can help support your liver's natural detox pathways.
