How many usg during pregnancy?

My friend is pregnant and she's been going for sonographies, or USGs as they call them. I was wondering, typically, how many USGs are done during a full pregnancy term? Trying to understand the usual medical protocol.

Because of my PCOS, my pregnancy was monitored very carefully and I had about 5 or 6 USG scans in total. Usually, for a normal pregnancy, they do about 3 to 4 scans. Don't worry if your doctor schedules an extra scan, it's just to be absolutely sure about the baby's growth.

See, normally 3 scans are compulsory—the early dating scan, the 5th month anomaly scan, and the growth scan near delivery. Don't listen to people who say get a scan every month for fun. Do only what your gynecologist recommends, nothing more, nothing less.

A standard, low-risk pregnancy typically requires 3 to 4 ultrasounds, starting with a viability scan, then the NT scan, anomaly scan, and a final growth scan. However, medical needs vary, so it is always best to let your doctor determine the safe and necessary number of scans for your case.

In most standard pregnancies, 3 to 4 USG scans are more than enough to check the baby's development. The most important one is the Anomaly Scan around 18-20 weeks. Just make sure you follow your hospital's schedule and keep all your reports in one folder.

Humare yahan toh doctor didi ne 3 ultrasound likhe the—ek teesre mahine me, ek paanchve mahine me aur ek aakhri me bacche ka wajan dekhne ke liye. Aap darna mat, ye sab janch bacche ki bhalai ke liye hoti hai. Khub accha khana khao aur khush raho.

Most doctors will ask for 3 or 4 USG tests to see the baby, which is fine. Along with that, take good care of your diet, drink coconut water daily, and eat soaked raisins to keep your hemoglobin up. If you ever feel severe pain or cramping, go to the hospital immediately.

For a normal pregnancy, 3 to 4 scans are standard. But if there are lifestyle health issues like high blood pressure, the doctor might do 5 or 6 scans to check the blood flow to the baby. Keeping regular doctor checkups is absolutely key to avoiding complications.

Generally, 3 to 4 ultrasounds are planned by doctors to track the baby. While you go through these stages, keeping active with gentle prenatal walks is super beneficial for your stamina. Always ask your doctor before starting any exercise routine during these months.
