How many medjool dates per day pregnancy?

I'm pregnant and in my third trimester, and I've heard that eating dates can help with labor. I bought some medjool dates, but I'm unsure about the quantity. How many medjool dates per day are safe or recommended during pregnancy?

Yaar, actually medjool dates are really good for pregnancy, especially towards the end. But they are sweet, so moderation is key. Most sources recommend about 6 dates per day in the last month, but check with your gynae first, okay?

My doctor advised that Medjool dates can be beneficial in late pregnancy (usually from 36 weeks onwards) for cervical ripening. The research suggests about 6-7 dates (around 70-75 grams) daily. It's crucial to confirm this with your own obstetrician, especially due to their sugar content.

During my last pregnancy, my gynaecologist recommended I start eating about 6 Medjool dates a day from week 36 onwards. She said it helps in easier labour. It worked for me, but definitely ask your own doctor first!

Oh, I've heard about dates for pregnancy! Is it only Medjool dates, or can other types also be eaten? And are they good throughout the whole pregnancy or only towards the end?

Medjool dates for pregnancy? Honestly, during my pregnancy, I just ate whatever I could keep down and what gave me energy, which wasn't much, lol. But yeah, people say around 6-7 dates per day in the last few weeks. Just make sure your doctor says it's okay, especially with all the pregnancy fatigue!
