Hey, bestie! Don't stress too much, it's usually 8-12 hours of fasting for a diabetes test. Just make sure you don't eat or drink anything other than water after your dinner the night before. Call the lab or your doc once just to confirm, okay? You got this!

I totally get the confusion around fasting times, it can be tricky! For a fasting blood sugar test, it's typically an 8 to 12-hour fast. This means no food, no sugary drinks, not even coffee. Only water is allowed. It's really important to follow it correctly for accurate results, so double-check with your doctor or the lab.

For a fasting blood glucose test, the standard recommendation is to fast for 8-12 hours. This generally means no food or drink except water after midnight or after your last meal the night before. However, the most accurate and safe advice will always come from your doctor or the lab conducting the test, as protocols can slightly vary.

This is crucial for an accurate reading. For a fasting blood sugar test, you need to fast for 8 to 12 hours. This means absolutely no food or any caloric drinks (juice, tea with sugar, coffee with milk/sugar) during that period. Only plain water. If you don't fast properly, the results won't reflect your true baseline and could lead to incorrect diagnosis or treatment for diabetes.

Usually it's 8-12 hours of fasting for a diabetes test! 😬 So if your test is at 9 AM, try to finish your dinner by 9 PM the previous night. Only plain water is allowed! Good luck, hope everything comes out fine! ✨
