Please don't take sleep lightly. I used to think I could manage with 4-5 hours and it badly affected my health and concentration. If you're consistently feeling sleepy during the day, it's a signal. Do check with a doctor to rule out any underlying issues, it's better to be safe than sorry.

I totally get why you're asking this. It's so hard to know what's 'normal' with all the conflicting info. Generally, for adults, 7-9 hours is the range. But listen to your body; if you feel groggy even after 8 hours, maybe the quality of your sleep needs improving, not just the quantity.

Peaceful sleep recharges the mind and body. While specific hours vary, aim for enough rest so you wake with a calm mind and a positive spirit. Take care of your temple, which is your body, and good sleep is a big part of that. Try to quiet your mind before bed.

Dekho beta, 7-8 ghante toh minimum sona hi chahiye. Agar usse kam sote ho aur din bhar thakaan rehti hai, toh kaam bhi theek se nahi hoga. Apne shareer ko aaram dena zaroori hai. Simple si baat hai, aaram karoge toh fit rahoge.

As someone managing BP, I can tell you sleep is absolutely critical. My doctor always asks about my sleep patterns. For adults, it's usually 7-9 hours. If you're having trouble getting good sleep, it might affect your health in other ways, so discuss it during your routine check-ups.

Agree with everyone, 7-9 hours for adults is generally the recommendation for overall well-being. Quality sleep is also important.

Honestly, if I don't get my 7-8 hours, I just want to eat all the comfort food! Like, my body thinks it needs extra energy to compensate for the sleep. So for me, good sleep = less binge-eating. Plus, who wants to cook when you're sleepy? Better sleep, better mood, better food choices!
