How many hours should a toddler sleep?
My toddler is around 2 years old and takes one long nap during the day, plus sleeps about 10 hours at night. Is this the right amount? I want to make sure he's getting enough rest for his growth.

Toddlers generally need a good amount of sleep, around 11-14 hours in a 24-hour period, including naps. A warm bath, a bedtime story, or some gentle music can help them unwind. If you notice persistent sleep issues, extreme crankiness, or unusual fatigue, it's always best to consult your pediatrician to rule out anything serious.
A toddler should sleep 11-14 hours. My daughter, when she was a toddler, would sleep exactly 30 minutes less than what I needed for myself! They have so much energy, they just crash. Just make sure they're comfortable and don't drink too much water before bed, otherwise you'll be up for toilet breaks!
From my experience with my niece, toddlers usually need a lot of sleep. She would sleep for about 10-11 hours at night and then take a good 2-hour nap in the afternoon. So, roughly 12-13 hours total. It's about finding their rhythm and ensuring they wake up fresh, I think.
My little cousin is a toddler, and he sleeps like a champion! His mom says he gets about 11-12 hours at night and a good long nap during the day. So yeah, 13-14 hours total is pretty normal for them. They're always so active, they need that much rest.
Hello there! For a toddler, the recommended sleep is usually between 11 to 14 hours in a 24-hour period, which includes any naps they take. Don't stress too much if it varies a bit day-to-day. As long as they seem happy and energetic when they're awake, they're probably getting enough rest.
Beta, toddlers need plenty of sleep for their fast growth. My grandchildren, when they were toddlers, would sleep for about 12-13 hours, including a good afternoon nap. Just make sure their environment is calm and safe. Don't worry too much, children usually show when they are tired.

Hey, for a toddler, 11-14 hours of sleep in a 24-hour cycle, including their naps, is what they really need. It's a lot, but their little bodies are growing and learning so much! Just make sure they have a cozy, dark room and a consistent bedtime routine. You're doing great with them.
For a toddler, 11-14 hours of sleep (including naps) is the general guideline. As working parents, we found that sticking to a strict bedtime routine, even on weekends, was essential for our child to get enough rest. It requires discipline, but it helps ensure they are well-rested for their busy days.
