How many hours should a pregnant woman sleep?

I'm in my second trimester and finding it hard to get comfortable at night, so I'm not sleeping as much as before. My family is worried. How many hours of sleep does a pregnant woman truly need for her and the baby's health?

For a pregnant woman, getting enough rest is super important. Usually, 7-9 hours at night is recommended, but don't hesitate to take naps during the day if you feel tired. Your body is working hard, so listen to it and rest whenever you can. Health comes first.

Pregnant women need extra rest, typically 7-9 hours at night, and often naps during the day. Just like managing high BP, adequate sleep is a crucial part of a healthy pregnancy lifestyle. Regular check-ups with the doctor are key to ensuring both mother and baby are doing well, and they can advise on specific sleep needs.

Ho na, pregnant ladies ko toh bahut rest chahiye. Generally, 7-9 ghante ki neend toh leni hi chahiye, aur din mein bhi short naps le sakte hain. Body bahut hard work karti hai, na. So, listen to your body and sleep whenever you feel tired, it's totally okay.

For pregnant women, generally 7-9 hours of sleep is recommended, but honestly, it's more about quality sleep and listening to your body. Many women need more rest, especially in the first and third trimesters. My wife tracked her sleep during pregnancy, and it really helped her understand her body's needs better.
