How many hours of sleep do teens need?

With school and social life, it's hard to get to bed early. My parents say I need more sleep. How many hours of sleep do teenagers like me actually need? I'm 17.

Teens really need a lot of sleep for their growing bodies and minds, usually 8-10 hours. Try encouraging a regular bedtime, making sure their room is dark, and maybe a calming herbal tea. If they're constantly exhausted or have trouble sleeping for a long time, it's wise to consult a doctor.

Bacche toh bacche hi hote hain, chahe kitne bhi bade ho jaayein. Teenagers ko bhi achhi neend zaroori hai, 8-10 ghante toh pakka. Mobile phone aur TV se dur rakho raat mein. Raat ko doodh mein thoda shahed mila ke pilao, sharir ko shanti milti hai aur neend bhi achhi aati hai.

From my experience with my nephew, he needed about 9 hours of sleep when he was a teenager. He was always on his phone late, which made it harder for him to sleep. Once he cut down screen time before bed, he slept much better. So 8-10 hours is probably a good range, but it's tough for them to get it sometimes.

Teenagers definitely need their rest, around 8-10 hours to fuel all that growth and development. Regular exercise, like a good walk or some sports during the day, can also greatly improve sleep quality. Just make sure they're not exercising too close to bedtime, that can be counterproductive.

Teenagers undergo a lot of hormonal changes, similar to what I experience with PCOS, so good sleep is super important for them. Generally, 8-10 hours is recommended. It's crucial for their mood, concentration, and overall health. Be supportive and encourage a consistent routine, without being too pushy.

For teens, 8-10 hours is the standard recommendation. It's a critical period for their physical and mental health. There are some cool sleep tracking apps or wearables that can help them understand their sleep patterns. Might be a modern way to encourage them to prioritize sleep if they can see their own data.

Teenagers? Sleep? What's that? 😂 My son, a teenager, thinks he can survive on 5 hours and endless gaming! But medically, they need a solid 8-10 hours. Honestly, it's a battle to get them off their devices and into bed. Good luck with that!
