How many hours of sleep do humans need?

I've heard different things about sleep needs for different age groups. Just as a general question, across all ages, how many hours of sleep do humans need on average for good health?

Yaar, this depends on age, simple. Bachchon ko zyada chahiye, adults ko 7-9 ghante. Elders ko bhi thoda kam ho jaata hai sometimes. Main toh phone side mein rakh deta hu raat ko. Bas itna kar lo, neend khud adjust ho jaati hai.

It really depends on the age group. Infants need a lot, teenagers around 8-10 hours, and adults usually 7-9 hours. Listen to your body; if you're constantly tired, you might need more. A good bedtime routine helps a lot for anyone.

Okay, so generally, it varies a lot by age. For adults, my doctor told me 7-9 hours is optimal. Kids need more, like 9-12 hours for school-going ones. Infants, of course, sleep almost all day. The key is to listen to your body and see if you feel rested and energetic during the day.

Humans need sleep, that's for sure! If only we could actually get it, especially after a certain age! 😂 It differs with age. My kids need 10-12 hours. My husband and I? We're lucky if we hit 6-7, but honestly, 7-9 is what they recommend for adults. I just want a full 8 hours once!

After struggling with sleep recently, I read up a lot and spoke to a doctor. For an average adult, 7-9 hours is the sweet spot. But everyone's different. I found that I need a solid 8 hours to feel fresh. Less than that, and I'm groggy all day. Just try to find your own optimum, you'll know.
