How many hours of sleep do 5 year olds need?

My younger son, Varun, is five years old and always seems tired, even after what I think is a full night's sleep. Could it be he needs more sleep than he's getting? What's the normal requirement for a 5-year-old?

My younger one is 5, and he needs a solid 10-13 hours of sleep. Most 5-year-olds drop their daytime naps, so it's all about that long night sleep. A good bedtime routine is key to ensure they get enough rest for school.

For a 5-year-old, it's typically 10 to 13 hours. Don't rely on random advice; always consult a pediatrician for your child's health. They will give you the most accurate and safe information, not some internet fad.

Dekho, 5 saal ke bachche ko 10 se 13 ghante ki neend zaroori hai. Simple. Regular bedtime rakho, no screen time before sleeping. Bachche ki health ke liye yeh sab basic hai.

A 5-year-old needs around 10 to 13 hours of sleep. Ah, to be 5 again, and have sleep be my biggest worry! It's super important for their growth and energy for school. Get them to bed on time, it pays off.

For a 5-year-old, the standard recommendation is 10 to 13 hours of sleep. If you notice your child is often irritable, struggling with focus, or seems excessively tired, it's always prudent to consult a pediatrician. Don't ignore persistent issues.
