How many dates a day pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester, and my mother-in-law keeps telling me to eat dates. She says it's good for the baby and for an easy delivery. How many dates can I safely eat in a day during pregnancy? Don't want to overdo it.

I panicked during my eighth month when I started having 6 dates a day because I thought it would trigger early labor. But my gynecologist reassured me it just softens the cervix naturally. My delivery went very smoothly, so stay relaxed!

When my wife was pregnant, she ate about 4-6 dates a day in the final month to help with labor. Watching her manage cravings and hormones made me exhausted, but dates are definitely a great healthy snack!

I was so anxious about eating dates because some people said they cause heat and miscarriage. But my doctor calmed me down and said 4 to 6 dates daily during the third trimester is perfectly safe and actually helps. Just don't overthink it like I did!

Usually, eating 4 to 6 dates daily during the last few weeks of pregnancy is recommended. However, if you have gestational diabetes, please consult your doctor first as they are very high in natural sugars.

I just delivered my baby boy last month. I ate exactly 6 dates daily starting from my 36th week. It really helped with my energy levels and iron levels. Highly recommend it, but start gradually.
