Hey! So for pregnancy, it's not just about hitting a calorie number, but *what* kind of calories you're eating. Focus on nutrient-dense foods, not empty calories. Generally, you need a little extra in the second and third trimesters, but your doctor or a dietician can give you exact numbers based on your activity and BMI.

Hey girl! First trimester usually no extra calories needed, then maybe 300-500 extra in the 2nd and 3rd. But honestly, every body is different. Don't stress too much about exact numbers, just eat healthy, home-cooked food and talk to your doc. They'll tell you if you need to adjust anything!

Don't stress too much about counting every single calorie, just try to eat healthy and balanced meals. Your doctor will guide you on what's right for you and the baby.

Please, please, please consult your doctor or a nutritionist for this. Every pregnancy is different, and what works for one might not work for another. I once tried to self-manage my diet based on internet advice and it caused more stress. Get proper guidance, it's worth it for your peace of mind and baby's health.

Hi there! This is a common question. Generally, you don't need a huge jump in calories right from the start. It's usually about 300-400 extra calories in the second and third trimesters. More importantly, listen to your body and make sure you're getting enough protein, iron, and folic acid. Consult your gynaecologist for a personalized plan, they know best!

During my pregnancy, I was also confused about how much to eat. My grandmother suggested eating small, frequent meals rather than large ones, focusing on daal, roti, sabzi, and fresh fruits. This helped me feel full and nourished without overdoing it. But definitely, ask your lady doctor for specific advice tailored for you.

Honestly, counting calories can be quite time-consuming, especially when you're already busy. My wife just focused on eating whole foods, plenty of fruits and veggies, and stayed hydrated. Her doctor gave general guidelines, but didn't push for strict calorie counting. A quick chat with your gynaecologist can clarify things.
