How many calories burn per day for weight loss?

I've started working out and trying to eat better to lose weight. I hear a lot about burning calories, but I'm not sure how much is enough. How many calories do I need to burn per day for effective weight loss?

To lose weight safely, aim to create a deficit of about 500 calories a day through a mix of diet and exercise. This helps you burn enough without making your body weak. Don't go for extreme calorie-burning targets.

My doctor at Max Hospital told me that target calories depend strictly on your BMI and metabolic rate. You should ask your physician to calculate your TDEE and give you a safe, tailored exercise and diet plan.

Listen, don't stress too much about burning 1000 calories a day on your fitness tracker. Just focus on a small 300-400 calorie deficit daily and keep moving. Consistency is much more important than crazy workout sessions!

With diabetes, you have to be careful not to create a massive calorie deficit, as it can cause sudden hypoglycemia. Aiming for a gentle 300-500 calorie deficit is much safer. Always pair your food and exercise carefully.

I tried fat burners and starving myself, but nothing worked long-term. Finally, just walking 45 minutes daily and cutting out sweet tea did the trick. Slow and steady burn is always the healthiest way.

Honestly, I probably burn more calories overthinking at 2 AM than at the gym. But seriously, a 500-calorie deficit is standard. Just don't ruin your sleep over it, bad sleep makes weight loss even harder!

I totally get it, trying to figure out the right calorie deficit can feel so overwhelming. Don't push yourself to burn extreme amounts right away. A simple target of 300-500 calories less than your maintenance is safe and doable.

If your doctor clears you, try to burn about 300-400 calories through active exercise like brisk walking or cycling daily. Combine that with a clean diet, and you'll see progress. Start slow and build up your stamina.

I lost 10 kgs just by keeping a 500 calorie deficit and lifting weights. Tracking apps really help you stay honest about what you burn. Just stick to the math and don't expect overnight results.

If you have thyroid issues, your metabolism is already slow, so burning calories is much harder. Please get your thyroid levels checked first and follow up with your doctor. A regular thyroid pill might be what you actually need to help your weight loss.

I used to panic checking my smart band every hour to see how many calories I burned. Please don't let the numbers make you anxious. Just focus on eating clean home-cooked meals and walking a bit, the rest will follow.

At my age, burning 500 calories feels like climbing Mount Everest! But cutting down on high-calorie snacks and doing some basic physical work around the house is a realistic way to start. No need to overdo it.
