How long until you can take a pregnancy test?

My period is a few days late now, and I'm feeling a bit anxious. My friend told me not to test too early, it might give a false negative. When is the best time to take a home pregnancy test to be sure?

Just buy a standard 50-rupee kit from any local medical store. Wait till the day your period is missed, as testing before that usually gives wrong results and wastes money. It is as simple as that, no need to overcomplicate.

Is anyone else also too scared to test? I am already two days late but I am so nervous to check. People say wait a week after missed period to be absolutely sure, did you guys also wait that long?

Actually, testing early is useless yaar. The HCG levels take time to build up in the body. Just wait for the day of your missed period, otherwise you will just get a false negative and get totally stressed for no reason.

It is best to wait until your period is missed for an accurate reading. Since hormone levels can affect your blood sugar too, keeping an eye on your routine is important. Make sure you are eating healthy, low-glycemic meals while you wait.

I used to test five days early every month and it was an emotional rollercoaster that really broke me. Please try to wait until your period is late. It is so hard to be patient, but it protects your peace of mind.

Those test kits aren't magic sticks, they need actual hormones to work! Give it till your missed period date, otherwise you are just paying to look at one sad little line. Put the kit away and watch a movie instead.

I totally get it, the suspense can drive you crazy and you want to know right away. But testing before your missed period can just lead to confusion with faint lines. Give it a few more days, you've got this.

Look, there is no point testing early and stressing yourself out. Wait for your period date to pass. If you miss it, test the very next morning with your first pee. Simple, accurate, and saves you the drama.
