How long until u can take a pregnancy test?

My period is late, and I'm wondering if I could be pregnant. I'm eager to take a home test, but I want to make sure I do it at the right time. What's the earliest I can take a pregnancy test for an accurate result?

Just wait until the first day of your missed period. Anything before that is mostly a waste of time because the hormone levels won't be high enough to detect. Use morning urine for the most accurate result.

Don't rely on weird online hacks like salt or toothpaste tests, they are completely fake. Buy a standard kit from the pharmacy and use it a day after your missed period. If you are still in doubt, go to a proper clinic for a blood test.

Honestly, wait till your period is late by at least a day, unless you like staring at faint lines at 4 AM and googling what they mean. Save your sleep and your sanity, test only when your cycle actually misses its date.

The hormone levels need about 12 to 14 days after ovulation to be detectable, so the day of your missed period is ideal. Keep up with your regular light workouts and balanced diet while you wait, it helps manage the anxiety.

I have been through this cycle many times. The absolute best time is 14 days after ovulation, which is basically the day of your missed period. If you test too early and get a negative, don't panic, just wait three days and try again.

Beta, you should wait until your monthly cycle is delayed by at least 4 to 5 days. Eat healthy, warm home-cooked food and keep your mind calm. Do not rush to do these tests too quickly, let nature take its time.

I know how incredibly hard it is to wait and how you just want to test every day. But testing too early can give false negatives which hurt so much. Please protect your heart and try to wait until your period is actually missed.
