How long until pregnancy symptoms show?

I'm trying to get pregnant and my period is a few days late. I'm wondering when I might start noticing any signs or symptoms. How long does it usually take for pregnancy symptoms to show up after conception?

Honestly, I used to obsess over this every single month and it was so draining. For me, the breast tenderness started around week 5, but every body is different. Please don't stress yourself out too much tracking every tiny change, I know it is hard but give it some time.

Usually, most women start noticing things like morning sickness or fatigue around the 5th or 6th week, which is shortly after your missed period. Some get mild cramping even earlier during implantation. It is always best to wait till your missed period to take a home test for a clear answer.

My wife didn't feel anything until she was nearly six weeks along. She just suddenly felt very turned off by the smell of garlic and tadka in the kitchen. Make sure you are eating clean, home-cooked food right now anyway, just in case.

I totally get it, the waiting game is so tough and makes you super anxious. Some people feel symptoms like nausea within 2-3 weeks of conception, while others feel absolutely nothing for months. Just try to breathe and take it easy on yourself right now.

For me, the very first sign was that my favourite street food started tasting totally weird and metallic. That happened around week 5. Suddenly I couldn't stand golgappas, which was a huge shock for everyone!

I was actually reading about this online because my cousin is expecting. It seems most medical sites say symptoms usually kick in around the 4th to 6th week when hormone levels rise. But apparently, some people don't get any major signs at all in the early days.

In our case, my wife didn't have any typical symptoms like vomiting at all. She only felt extremely tired all the time around the time her period was due. I am no expert, but that was just our personal experience.

My partner noticed it when her usual morning runs suddenly felt way more exhausting than normal, around the 4th week. Her heart rate was spiking quite fast. If you are active, just listen to your body and don't push too hard if you feel unusually fatigued.
