How long to test for pregnancy after intercourse?

My boyfriend and I had intercourse a few days ago, and I'm a bit anxious. How long should I wait after intercourse to take a pregnancy test to ensure it's accurate?

Honestly, don't wait too long. Mere saath ek baar aisa hua tha ki I thought it's nothing and ignored it for weeks, later it caused so much stress. Best to check after a missed period, ya like 2 weeks after intercourse. Just do it for peace of mind, dear.

My gynaecologist at Apollo told me it's best to wait until at least a week after your expected period date for the most accurate results. Early tests can sometimes give false negatives because HCG levels aren't high enough yet. If you're really concerned, a blood test can detect it earlier, ask your doctor about that.

Hey! Usually, people say wait for a missed period, tab tak test negative aa sakta hai. Or like, 10-14 days after the deed. Get a home kit, super easy. Don't stress too much!

I get why you're asking, it's totally normal to feel anxious about this! From what I've read, most home kits are accurate from the first day of a missed period. Some very sensitive ones might show results a few days earlier, but better to be safe and wait a bit. Don't google too much like me, it just makes you more worried.

Ah, the good old 'is it or isn't it' dilemma! Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt. Usually, they say wait for the period to miss, then give it a few more days, just to be sure. Otherwise, you'll be staring at that stick wondering if you saw a line or not. Save yourself the headache!

Totally understand this feeling, it's okay to be worried. The best time for accuracy is usually after a missed period. Before that, the hormones might not be detectable enough. Take a deep breath, and if you're really stressed, maybe just talk to a doctor, they can guide you best.
