How long should you do cardio for weight loss?

I've started going to the gym to lose some weight, and my trainer told me to do cardio. I'm wondering how much time I should dedicate to it per session for effective weight loss. What's a good duration for cardio?

For weight loss, I usually aim for 30-45 minutes of moderate cardio, 4-5 times a week. It really depends on your fitness level and any existing health conditions, so always check with your doctor before starting any intense routine. Even brisk walking helps a lot!

For effective weight loss, a mix of cardio and strength training is key. For cardio, 30-60 minutes, 3-5 times a week is a good target. But remember, diet plays a huge role; you can't out-exercise a bad diet. Stay consistent!

It can feel really overwhelming when you start thinking about how much cardio to do. I remember feeling so much pressure. Just start slow, maybe 20-30 mins, and gradually increase. It's okay to have days when you don't feel like it, just be kind to yourself.

With PCOS, weight loss can be tricky, and too much intense cardio can sometimes make things worse. I've found that moderate cardio for 30-40 minutes, like brisk walking or cycling, coupled with strength training, works better. Always listen to your body and consult your gynecologist or a dietician.

Honestly, I just try to squeeze in 30 minutes of something active like zumba or cycling whenever I can. For weight loss, consistency is probably more important than super long sessions. And yeah, diet is a huge part. Can't just eat maggi and expect results, lol.

Bro, for weight loss, I do about 40-45 mins of cardio after my weights, almost 5 times a week. Started slow, like 20 mins, then slowly increased. It works for me, but yeah, gotta watch what you eat too. No point running if you're eating biryani every night, haha.

Be very careful about how much cardio you do, especially if you have any underlying health issues. I pushed myself too hard once and ended up with knee pain that lasted for months. It's always best to get a doctor's clearance and maybe even guidance from a certified trainer to avoid injuries.
