How long should i run for weight loss?

I'm trying to shed some kilos and thought running might help. How much time should I dedicate to running each day or week for weight loss? I'm quite new to it.

Running for weight loss can feel overwhelming at first, I totally get it. Don't push yourself too hard initially. Even 20-30 minutes, 3-4 times a week, is a great start. Consistency is way more important than speed or distance when you're beginning.

Running is good, but listen to your body, dear. Start with what feels comfortable, maybe 20 minutes, and slowly increase. Pair it with some gentle yoga or pranayama for holistic well-being. It helps calm the mind and reduce stress, which also aids in weight management.

Hello! Many people ask this. What works well is starting slow and building up. Aim for about 30 minutes, 5 times a week. It doesn't have to be continuous running, you can do intervals of running and walking. The key is to be consistent and to pair it with healthy eating habits for proper weight loss.

To effectively lose weight through running, it's generally recommended to engage in at least 150-300 minutes of moderate-intensity cardio per week. This could translate to 30-60 minutes, 5 days a week. However, individual factors like current fitness, diet, and health conditions play a big role, so consulting a doctor or a fitness professional for a personalized plan is always the safest bet.

My son also started running for weight loss. The trainer suggested 30-40 minutes, 4-5 days a week. Make sure to warm up and cool down properly. And don't just rely on running, a balanced diet is very important. Keep track of what you eat.

Yo! honestly, for weight loss, consistency is key, not just length. Start with like 20-30 mins, 4-5 times a week. If you push too hard, you'll just burn out. Add some good music, it helps! And don't forget to eat right, running alone won't do it.

My dear, in my younger days, I used to run a lot. It's not about how long in one go, but how regularly you do it. Start with 30 minutes, briskly. If you feel tired, walk. The main thing is to keep moving and make it a habit. You will see the difference over time.

Hey! For weight loss, aim for moderate intensity where you can talk but not sing. About 30-45 minutes, 4-5 times a week, is a good target. Make sure to stay hydrated and wear good shoes to protect your joints. And don't skip the healthy food part, it's half the battle.

Start with brisk walking for 15 mins, then add some running, like 5 mins run, 2 mins walk. Slowly increase the running part. If you do it everyday or 5 days a week for 30-40 mins, you will see a good change. Don't need fancy gear, just good shoes.

Until you start feeling like a gazelle being chased by a cheetah, that's how long! Just kidding! Start with what feels good, maybe 20 minutes, then increase gradually. The goal is to not hate running so much that you stop doing it, right? Keep it fun!
