How long does wisdom teeth pain last?

My wisdom tooth has started bothering me a lot, it's really painful. I've been taking painkillers but it's still there. Just wondering how long this wisdom tooth pain typically lasts before it gets unbearable or needs extraction.

Wisdom teeth pain? Ah, the gift that keeps on giving! Mine felt like it lasted forever, but realistically, a few days to a week of really bad pain is normal. After that, it settles down to an annoying ache. Just pop a painkiller and try to distract yourself. Getting old is fun, isn't it?

Wisdom tooth pain can be bothersome. While managing it, I always make sure to avoid sugary drinks or very hard foods that can irritate the area, especially with my diabetes. Usually, for me, the acute pain subsides in about 3-5 days with proper care and medication. But if it persists or feels worse, definitely go to the dentist. Don't neglect oral hygiene.

Arre beta, wisdom tooth pain can be very bad. For some, it's just two-three days, for others, it can take a week or more to feel fully better. Keep your mouth clean with warm salt water gargle. But if pain is too much or you get fever, please show to doctor. Don't suffer alone.

My dentist explained that wisdom tooth pain can vary. If it's just coming through, it might be intermittent for a few days. But if it's impacted or infected, the pain can be constant and severe, lasting for a week or more until it's treated. He said to look out for swelling, fever, or difficulty opening the mouth, and to get it checked immediately if those occur.

I had a really tough time with my wisdom tooth. The pain was unbearable and didn't subside for over a week, and then I found out I had an infection. So, don't ignore it if it's severe or lasts too long. Please consult a dentist quickly, you might need antibiotics or even extraction.
