How long does weight loss take?

I've started going to the gym and trying to eat better to lose some weight. It's only been a couple of weeks, but I'm feeling a bit demotivated already. How long does it typically take to see some noticeable weight loss?

Honestly, it's such a personal journey and it can be really tough mentally. Don't let social media fool you into thinking it's always fast. I had days I just wanted to give up, but consistency and being kind to myself helped a lot. It took me over a year to see significant, sustainable change.

Weight loss? Haha, it takes as long as it takes, my friend! Like trying to teach a cat to fetch, some things just operate on their own timeline. Just keep at it, eat your ghar ka khana, and don't expect to turn into a supermodel overnight. We're all works in progress, just maybe some progress slower than others!

Be careful, haan? I tried some crash diets to lose weight quickly and ended up with a lot of health issues, like hair fall and low energy. It's better to consult a doctor or a proper dietician. They can guide you safely, otherwise, you might complicate things more.

It's all about consistency, dear. Drink warm water with lemon in the morning, avoid processed foods, and walk every day. These small things make a big difference over time. But if you're not seeing any change or feeling unwell, then of course, go see a doctor, they know best!

I just lost about 8 kgs in 4 months, and it felt like ages! The first 2-3 kgs were quick, but then it slowed down. I realized it's not a race. Focus on feeling good, eating right, and exercising consistently. The results will come, just be patient. For me, walking daily and cutting down on sugar helped the most.

With PCOS, weight loss can be a real struggle and it often takes longer than for others. It's not just about diet and exercise; hormones play a big role. Don't get disheartened if it feels slow, just focus on healthy habits and definitely talk to your gynecologist or an endocrinologist for a proper plan.

Oh god, this question itself gives me anxiety! I'm always reading up on fast weight loss methods and then worrying if I'm doing it right or not. But from what I've learned, it's really variable. Just focus on sustainable changes, small steps, and try not to compare your journey to others. It will happen when it has to happen.
