How long does semaglutide take to work for weight loss?

My doctor prescribed semaglutide for my weight loss journey. I'm really keen to see results and stay motivated. Can anyone tell me, how long does semaglutide generally take to start working for weight loss?

I'm thinking of starting semaglutide and this is my biggest question! I'm so worried it won't work or will take forever. Have others on it seen results quickly, or does it really take months? I just want to feel better soon.

Semaglutide is a new type of medicine, dear. My doctor explained it gradually increases dosage. So weight loss is not instant, it slowly shows results over many weeks and months. It's important to follow your doctor's exact instructions and combine with diet changes. Patience is key.

Hey! My cousin is on semaglutide. She started seeing some weight loss after about 4-6 weeks when her dosage increased. It's not a super fast drug, it works gradually by making you feel full. So you need to give it time and definitely stick to a healthier diet alongside.

For something like semaglutide, regular doctor consultations are just as crucial as they are for thyroid conditions. You need to monitor for side effects and ensure it's working for you. Don't expect dramatic results instantly; real progress takes months, and your doctor will guide you through the dosage adjustments.

My doc put me on it for weight management. Honestly, felt the appetite suppression pretty quick, like after 2-3 weeks. But actual numbers on the scale started changing after maybe a month and a half. It's not an overnight thing, you have to keep at it with diet and all.

Beta, for health, patience is always the best medicine. Medicines like this are not magic. They work slowly with your body. While taking this, also try to eat simple, ghar ka khana and walk a little every day. Give it a few months to show its true effect, with doctor's guidance of course.

From my experience with weight loss meds, semaglutide definitely takes time because they start you on a very low dose and increase it gradually. You might start noticing appetite suppression in a few weeks, but significant weight loss usually becomes more apparent after 2-3 months as the dose goes up. Consistency with diet and exercise is non-negotiable for best results.

With any new medication, especially for weight loss, it's vital to be vigilant about how your body reacts. I once ignored some side effects of a medicine and regretted it. With semaglutide, listen to your body, report any issues to your doctor, and don't expect it to fix everything immediately without diet and exercise.
