How long does nausea last during pregnancy?

The constant nausea during my pregnancy is making it so hard to eat anything. Everyone says it gets better, but I'm so worried. Exactly how long does this nausea typically last during pregnancy? I'm just looking for some average timeframe.

For me, the nausea lasted until about the 14th week in both of my pregnancies. I used to keep some dry cream crackers by my bedside and eat one before even lifting my head off the pillow. It really helps settle the stomach acids early in the morning.

It usually starts getting much better as you enter your second trimester, around week 13 or 14. Try sipping iced water or clear ginger ale throughout the day. Your body is working so hard right now, so please give yourself plenty of grace and rest.

Hey, don't stress out too much, this is a very common phase and it almost always peaks around week 9 and then fades away by week 13. Just make sure you aren't forcing yourself to eat heavy meals. Focus on small, frequent bites and stay hydrated.

With my PCOS, my hormone levels were already a bit chaotic, so my nausea lasted until about the 16th week. It varies quite a bit for everyone, so it's always best to have a chat with your doctor to find safe options that work specifically for your body.

I'm in my 11th week and the constant vomiting is making me so exhausted and worried. Did anyone else feel like their nausea actually got worse before it got better? I'm really hoping this clears up soon.
