How long does liver hair loss regrow?

I read somewhere that liver problems can cause hair loss. I'm experiencing some thinning recently and am wondering if it could be related. If hair loss happens due to liver issues, how long does it take for the hair to regrow once the liver condition is managed?

Once your liver function returns to normal with proper medical treatment, hair regrowth usually starts within 3 to 6 months. The hair cycle is slow, so you have to be very patient. Keep eating a healthy, balanced diet and let your body heal from the inside first.

The hair will take about 3 to 6 months to grow back, child. While your liver is recovering under doctor's medicine, you can apply mild, homemade amla oil to soothe the scalp. But do not take any strong herbal mixtures or powders internally without asking your doctor first.

It takes about 6 months for hair to start regrowing after liver health improves. If you have diabetes along with liver issues, make sure to keep your blood sugar strictly controlled as high sugar can also worsen hair fall. Stick to green vegetables and avoid any sugary hair supplements.

In my experience with liver issues, hair fall only stopped after my liver enzymes became completely normal under a specialist's care. Please do not try any random over-the-counter hair vitamins because some of them can actually put more stress on a weak liver. Check with your hepatologist first.

It took almost 4 to 5 months of treating my liver condition before I saw tiny new hairs growing back. Losing clumps of hair while dealing with a liver illness was so depressing and made me feel so insecure. Please hold on, your hair will surely return once your body gets healthy again.
